The Medical Women’s Society of the ACT and Region aims to support and further the professional development of our female colleagues, including medical students. We extend practical concern for women and children on a global scale.
Our MWS is a member of the Australian Federation of Medical Women, which is affiliated with Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA)
We have members on multiple national Women’s lobby groups, particularly in relationship to women’s health.
The voice for Australian medical women, advocating for, and supporting, the health and welfare of our local, national and international communities.
For 99 years, MWS NSW has been the peak representative body for medical women (including students!) in New South Wales.
